Artistic approach

“It all starts with an encounter, with an endlessly renewed look my surroundings. My inspiration has always taken its source mainly in nature and my passion for horticulture has a great influence on my work. On the other hand, I don't hesitate to wander between figuration, abstraction and portraits. Colors, patterns and textures are at the heart of my work.

I work intuitively and have a preference for square surfaces for my paintings. On big pieces, I work with layers of mixed mediums; acrylics, markers, water-colors, inks and colored pencils and oil bars. I also use collage of papers or fabrics on my creations to add rich textures. Small works are often created with inks, watercolors and color pencils.

Creating art, experimenting with mediums bring me balance and a great satisfaction. I need to use my hands to create something new.

I have achieved my aim when my art spreads the happiness that fills me,

and when it brings to the viewer a feel of wonder and cheerfulness, hope and energy."
